JV Girls Volleyball Manager Recruitment 2026
The Brooklyn Tech Women’s Junior Varsity Volleyball team is seeking team managers for the Fall 2026 season. Managers are essential for a successful season for our players.
Managers must have some knowledge/experience in volleyball to participate.
Roles and responsibilities for managers:
Season is roughly from Sepetmber-Mid-November
Attend all tryouts, practices and games (home+away)
*Pre-season practices are 3x per week, during season is 2-3x per week with 1 practice and 2 matches per week
Track and care for all team equipment
Set-up and take down of net and storage of balls
Serve as a liaison between players and coach
Participate in facilitating team drills
Various roles as assigned: training/development (collaborating with team/coach on weekly drills), score keeping, reffing matches, fitness (warm up and cool down), team morale (socials, icebreakers, etc.)
Managers will receive volunteer hours for their participation that can be included on resumes and college applications
